-Extensive experience as a marine surveyor in oil and gas industries, particularly in the North West shelf (i.e., Barrow Island terminal, Saladin Marine terminal, Varanus terminal, Griffin Venture FPSO, Cossack pioneer FPSO, Dampier Spirit FSO, Karratha Spirit FSO, Modec Venture FPSO, and Jabiru Venture FPSO.
-Extensive experience in bulk carriers including trimming and draft surveying. This involved advising the Master and chief mate for trimming in the last stages of loading coal. This was so that the carrier could load the maximum for the permitted draft to sail safely from Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay coal terminal in Mackay (Worked 2 years).
-Teaching knowledge with the carriage and loading requirements of bulk, ore, grain and oil cargoes.
-Carrying out various roles and responsibilities associated with the berthing and un-berthing (including SPM) of vessels. This involved loading, discharging, documentation, safety and economic management of vessels, equipment and crew.
-Extensive knowledge of modern maritime communications and search and rescue systems.
-Wide practical experience in the maintenance of vessels for safe and efficient operations.
